Usage Billing

Usage-based pricing is a flexible model where you pay only for the actual consumption of our software features, ensuring your costs directly align with your usage. Several Aligni features are billed under this model.

Subscription and Billing Management

Organization Settings Subscription & Billing

All subscription options, including those driven by usage-based pricing are managed from your organization’s Subscription & Billing page. Since usage-based features have a variable pricing structure depending on the usage within your organization, you have the option to enable or disable these features. Your users will not have access to these features unless you enable them.

Since usage-based features are dependent on the behavior of your organization’s users, it’s important that you communicate any policies or practices to your users directly. Their actions may increase the cost of your subscription. No refunds are provided for any reason.

Quality Control

Aligni’s Quality Control functionality is billed based on the number of QCR created within the billing period.

A single Quality Control Record (QCR) represents the quality control record for a “batch” or specified quantity of a single item. There is a one-to-one correspondence between an inventory unit and a QCR. As a batch of material makes its way through quality control, the batch may be split into additional QCR.

For example, consider the following representation of two items that were purchased on a purchase order and sent through quality control:

The first item was originally split into two QCR for handling. The first QCR created two more that needed additional handling. At the point in time represented by the screenshot, the first item has 6 QCR associated with it. When material requires more handling in quality control (for additional rework, repair, return, etc.), additional QCR may be required.
