Attach documents, files, links, and notes to records such as parts, contacts, builds, ECR, and ECO to help communicate and collaborate easier with your colleagues.

README

Attachment notes defined as a “README” gain special consideration for some records. In order to define a note as a README, the title of the note must begin with “README – “. For example, the title “README – Engineering” would define the note as a README.

Presently supported for part records, if README are defined, a “Read Me” section will be displayed on the part’s Details tab. Within that section, the README notes are shown in separate tabs as shown below.
